Lingonberry
(Vaccinium vitis-idea)
Lingonberry likes half to full day sun (filtered shade in hot regions is best) and moist, acidic, well-drained soil. They are partially self-fertile (will produce more and larger berries if at least 2 different varieties are planted) and are hardy to -50°F (USDA zone 2). These plants should begin to bear fruit 1-3 years after planting and can yield 1-2 pounds of fruit per plant.
